Peter Csicsai, MPP, MBA
Founder & Principal Consultant
Peter Csicsai is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Alderleaf Advisory Group Inc., where he partners with Indigenous Nations, governments and organizations to strengthen governance, build sustainable economies and create lasting opportunities for future generations.
With more than 20 years of experience spanning government, Indigenous relations, economic development and organizational leadership, Peter has advised First Nations across British Columbia and the Northwest Territories on governance, strategic planning, executive recruitment, business development, major projects and organizational effectiveness.
His work is guided by a simple belief: economic development should be measured by more than financial returns. Strong economies should create meaningful employment, strengthen governance, improve community wellbeing and support healthy lands for future generations.
Peter has led the development of governance frameworks, strategic plans, economic development strategies and executive recruitment processes for Indigenous governments, development corporations and Nation-owned businesses. He is recognized for his collaborative approach, practical advice and ability to help organizations move from vision to implementation.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Alberta, a Master of Public Policy and a Master of Business Administration from Central European University, along with professional training in negotiation and mediation. His interdisciplinary background enables him to bridge governance, public policy and business strategy to deliver practical solutions to complex challenges.
